It was a great challenge for us to leave “the bush” after 17 years and follow our dream to start our very own guest house in Wilderness.  We have endeavored to create a personalized, cozy retreat for our guests to unwind and relax in. The original house was built in 1920 and now  offers our guests cozy, welcoming accommodation in a tranquil oasis of relaxation.

 Wilderness seems to be caught in a bit of a time warp as it has not developed into a big tourism destination as many other towns on the Garden Route.  However, to us and most of our visitors – this is the charm of Wilderness – small, quiet and safe.
